Guys Talk

Making time to catch up with other guys and talk about fathering provides the opportunity to develop your parenting skills and strengthen your relationship with your partner, your child and your own parents.

Do you find it a challenge to balance work and home or are you a stay at home dad juggling parenting and domestic responsibilities?

Guys Talk is a series of three sessions focussing on aspects of fathering. The sessions will explore the values and experiences you had growing up, your parenting style, what its like being a father and your expectations for the future.

Sessions are facilitated by Guy Vicars who is a dynamic presenter and relationship expert among other specialities. Guy is particularly interested in working with fathers and is passionate about their role.

"Most men I speak with aspire to do their best as a parent. They want to have valuable input. The truth is children are starving for good, solid, creative, thinking, feeling and available fathers as part of their world.

The difficulty can be that we have often missed these good masculine role models ourselves so we don’t know  what it looks like. When we get together and share ideas, stories and experiences our view of what is possible expands."
